Ingrediente 4 persoane:

  • Circa 700-800g morcovi curatati, spalati, taiati rondele;
  • 1 praz spalat, curatat, taiat rondele;
  • Sucul de la o portocala;
  • O cutie sau un borcan de naut;

A very good recipe, fall-winter season, inspired from www.taste.com.au.

Ingredients for 4:

  • Around 700-800g carrots, peeled, washed, sliced round;
  • A leek, washed, trimmed, sliced round;
  • Juice from an orange;
  • 1 can or jar chickpeas;
  • Salt, pepper, tarragon, some olive oil.

Put carrots and leek to boil in a pot in around 2 L water. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, on low heat, until it softens. Add the orange juice and the chickpeas, salt and pepper (you may add some extra vegetable base, if you want to). Remove from heat, blend, sprinkle some finelly chopped tarragon (or dried, whichever you have got) and a teaspoon extravirgin olive oil.

Serve great mixed with Greek-style yoghurt and/or feta cheese.
