Ficatei de pui in bacon cu salata de conopida si naut – Bacon wrapped chicken liver with cauliflower and chickpea salad

Am preparat ieri aceste doua feluri si am fost extraordinar de incantata de gustul lor, de modul cum se completeaza si de usurinta cu care se fac. Nici macar nu am mai facut poze, asa de repede le-am dat gata.

Este un fel principal usor de gatit pentru oricine, nici nu ia prea mult timp.


  • O punga ficatei de pasare, circa 500g;
  • Bacon crud-uscat feliat subtire;
  • 1 kg conopida, taiat florete, spalat (eu am avut 1 kg conopida congelata);
  • O cutie (borcan) naut;
  • O ceapa rosie mica, tocata marunt;
  • Ulei extravirgin de masline;
  • Zeama de lamaie;
  • Patrunjel tocat, sare, piper.

Se spala bine ficateii si se lasa sa se scurga intr-o strecuratoare. Se pregateste o tava cu hartie de copt, se ia cate un ficatel si se infasoara in bacon, se asaza in tava, pana ii “impachetam” pe toti. Presaram sare si piper deasupra si ii dam la cuptor 25 de minute, la foc mediu.

Intre timp intr-o oala cu multa apa fierbem conopida, o strecuram si o punem intr-un bol mare de salata. Spalam in strecuratoare si nautul, il adaugam la conopida. Intr-un castron amestecam bine uleiul de masline cu zeama de lamaie, ceapa rosie taiata si patrunjel, sare si piper. Acest sos il rasturnam peste conopida si naut si amestecam bine, lasand putin sa se patrunda aromele.

Servim impreuna ficateii cu salata. Pofta buna!


Yesterday I made these two dishes and I was extremely pleased with their taste, the way they complete each other and how easy it is to cook them. I didn’t take any pictures because I just ate them way too fast.

It’s an easy to cook main course, for anyone and it’s not time consuming at all.


  • 1 pack chicken livers, around 500g;
  • Thin slices of bacon;
  • 1 kg cauliflower, trimmed in florets, washed (I had 1 kg frozen cauliflower);
  • 1 can (jar) chickpeas;
  • One small red onion, thinly chopped;
  • Extravirgin olive oil;
  • Lemon juice;
  • Chooped parsley, salt, pepper.

We wash thoroughly the livers and let them drain in a colander. Meanwhile, we prepare a tray lined with baking paper, we take the livers one by one and wrap them in bacon, then place them on the tray. When all are “packed” this way, we sprinkle salt and pepper on top and put them for 25 minutes in oven, medium heat.

Meanwhile we cook the cauliflower in a large pan with plenty of water, we drain it and place it in a large salad bowl. We add the chickpeas, previously washed in the colander as well. In a bowl we mix the olive oil with lemon juice, the finely chooped red onion, parsley, salt and pepper. We pour this dressing over the cauliflower and chickpeas and mix well, letting to rest for a while for the flavours to blend.

We serve together the livers with the salad. Enjoy!
