Pui cu scortisoara – Cinnamon chicken

O reteta foarte buna pentru sezonul rece!

 

Ingrediente:

 

  • O ceapa medie, taiata marunt;
  • Piept de pui, 500g, spalat, taiat cuburi;
  • Un cartof mare (sau doi medii), taiati cuburi;
  • 2-3 catei de usturoi, zdrobiti (sau usturoi pudra);
  • 1 lingurita scortisoara;
  • O cutie rosii taiate;
  • 1 lingura miere;
  • Masline verzi (fara samburi);
  • Ulei de masline, putin unt;
  • Sare, piper, optional “Mirodenia”, patrunjel tocat.

 

Intr-o tigaie se incinge putin ulei de masline si unt, se pun la prajit carnea de pui si cartofii, pana cand isi schimba culoarea si incepe sa se rumeneasca putin. Adaugam ceapa, usturoiul, scortisoara, amestecam bine. Introducem pulpa de rosii, dam focul mic si gatim circa 10 minute. Asezonam cu sare, piper, optional “Mirodenia”. Oprim focul, adaugam o lingura cu miere si maslinele verzi si amestecam. Transferam totul intr-un vas potrivit pentru cuptor, presaram patrunjel si lasam in cuptorul incalzit la 200 C 15 minute.

N.B. Dupa gust, mai puteti adauga putin ghimbir si/sau chilli.

A very good recipe for the cold season!

 

Ingredients:

 

  • One medium onion, finely cut;
  • Chi9cken breast, 500g, washed, diced;
  • 1 big potato (or 2 medium ones), diced;
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, crushed (or garlic powder);
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon;
  • 1 can sliced tomatoes;
  • 1 tablespoon honey;
  • Green olives (pit removed);
  • Olive oil, a little butter;
  • Salt, pepper, finely cut parsley.

 

Heat in a large pan some olive oil and butter, then put the chicken breast and potatoes to fry, until they change color and turn golden. Add onion, garlic, cinnamon, stir well. Add the tomatoes, lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat, add honey and olives, stir. Put everything into an oven proof suitable dish, sprinkle the parsley and bake for 15 minutes at 200 C.

 

N.B. If you fancy, you can add some ginger or chilli.
