Paste cu piept de pui si lamaie – Chicken Breast and Lemon Pasta

Aceasta este o reteta foarte usoara si daca aveti niste piept de pui fiert sau fript ramas, inca si mai bine. Bineinteles puteti folosi si piept crud, dar atunci va trebui sa il gatiti in prealabil, taiat fasii.

 

Ingrediente:

  • 300g piept de pui, taiat fasii (daca este gatit, cu atat mai bine);
  • O conserva mica ciuperci;
  • Suc de lamaie, dupa gust;
  • Optional putina coaja de lamaie (numai daca aveti lamai bio, fara ceara si alte adaosuri in coaja);
  • 250g iaurt in stil grecesc;
  • 300g paste fusilli;
  • Sare, piper, putin ulei de masline.

 

Intr-o tigaie adanca incingeti putin ulei de masline si gatiti puiul pana este rumen. Daca aveti pui deja gatit, doar amestecati-l cateva minute in tigaie, sa se incalzeasca. Apoi, adaugati ciupercile din conserva, scurse de zeama, gatiti cateva minute amestecand, sucul de lamaie si coaja (daca aveti), asezonati cu sare si piper, puneti si iaurtul, mai amestecati putin si opriti focul.

Intre timp fierbeti pastele in suficienta apa conform instructiunilor de pe ambalaj, strecurati-le si puneti deasupra continutul tigaii. Se amesteca bine si se serveste, optional, cu patrunjel verde tocat. Pofta buna!

This is a very easy recipe and if you have some cooked chicken breast (boiled/roasted) even better then. Of course you can use raw chicken breast, but you’ll have to cook it first, sliced.

 

Ingredients:

  • 300g chicken breast, sliced (if it’s already cook, it’s for the better);
  • A small can of mushrooms;
  • Some lemon juice, according to your taste;
  • Optional, you can add for extra zing some lemon zest (but only if you have bio lemons, without wax or other stuff);
  • 250g Greek style yoghurt;
  • 300g fusilli pasta;
  • Salt, pepper, some olive oil.

 

In a deep pan heat some olive oil and cook chicken until it’s golden. If your chicken breast is already cooked, just stir it in the pan for a few moments, so heat through. Then, add the mushrooms, drained, cook for a couple of minutes stirring, mix in the lemon juice and zest (if you have any), season with salt and pepper, add the yoghurt and remove from heat.

Meanwhile boil pasta in plenty of water, as mentioned on the package. Drain them and mix well with the sauce from the pan. You can serve, if you fancy, with some green parsley finely chopped on top. Enjoy!
