Saramura de pui – Chicken Saramura

Usor de facut si delicios, o reteta pe care va invit sa o incercati!

Ingrediente:

  • 500g piept de pui (se pot folosi si pulpe superioare), taiat fasii;
  • o ceapa mica, tocata fin;
  • 6 catei usturoi, zdrobiti, frecati cu putin ulei sub forma de pasta;
  • un borcan cu ardei copti, taiati cuburi;
  • o cutie rosii taiate;
  • putin ulei;
  • cimbru, patrunjel tocat, sare, piper.

Pieptul se pune la rumenit intr-o tigaie adanca in putin ulei. Se amesteca pana cand se rumeneste, apoi se scoate intr-un bol. Se asezoneaza cu sare si piper. In tigaie se pun doua cani cu apa fierbinte, ceapa si ardeiul copt, cimbru, sare, piper. Se lasa sa fiarba circa 10 minute. Se adauga rosiile tocate. Se lasa inca 5 minute, apoi adaugati usturoiul si pastrunjelul, amestecati, lasati cateva clocote si opriti focul. Puneti carnea in sos si lasati sa stea sa se patrunda pana se raceste. Serviti cu orez sau mamaliga, dupa gust.

Nota: Puteti adauga si putin chilli, daca va place mai picant.

Easy to cook and delicious, this is a recipe I invite you to try! “Saramura” is a salty and often spicy dish based on this specific sauce. It is usually used with fish or meat. This recipe involves chicken.

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken breast (or upper thights), sliced;
  • a small onion, finely chopped;
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed, made into a pasta with a bit of oil;
  • a jar with roasted peppers, cubed;
  • a can cubed tomatoes;
  • a bit of oil;
  • thyme, chopped parsley, salt, pepper.

Cook the meat until golden in a deep pan. Remove it to a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Put two cups of hot water into the pan, together with the onion and roasted peppers, thyme, salt, pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Add the tomatoes, let it simmer another 5 minutes then add the parsley and the garlic. Stir well, remove from heat. Put the meat into the sauce and let it stay until it cools. Serve with white rice or polenta, according to your taste.

Note: You can add a bit of chilli, if you like it more spicy.

  1. Ce pofta mi-ai facut cu reteta asta! Multumesc, e foarte usor de facut! Nu am ardei copti la borcan (o sa caut in supermarket), dar cred ca merge si fara, sau cu pasta de ardei in loc…

  2. Iti spun sincer de tot, ca nu am facut niciodata reteta asta dar promit sa incerc.
    Am mai vazut-o pe la Chefi la Cutite, in carti de bucate… dar nu mi-a parut asa interesanta.
    Se numeste saramura, deci asta inseamna ca e sarata, ca tot mai am darul de a scapa sare multa in mancare :-))
